A professional society seeks a Manager of Publications to oversee project management for all publications and co-branded publications with outside publishers.

Responsibilities include: write and research compelling editorial updates for the website each week; carry out focused social media efforts with the marketing director to promote publications, engage readers, and to drive traffic to the web site; write articles for the quarterly magazine; Work with authors and publishers to bring new and revised publications to market; participate in design and marketing meetings; draft, edit and design content for association promotional materials; write other publications and marketing materials as needed, and more.

This newly-created position requires at least two-four years of publications and writing/editing experience; inventory management; association experience preferred. A bachelor's degree preferably in journalism, communications or marketing is required; a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites; good organizational skills, attention to detail, a customer-oriented attitude, have the ability to think creatively and generate new ideas, and the ability to efficiently handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
