I've been thinking about bosses lately. I had an unforgettable first boss at McGraw-Hill, Inc. in Atlanta. His name was Walter. Unfortunately, by the time I realized just how great a teacher he was, it was too late to tell him. That's not something I've gotten past easily.

I have been watching the perils of the United States Post Office in the news. Its financial situation, is, at best, crap. As a magazine publisher, I am extremely concerned.
