(McLean, VA, June 27, 2012) — Association Media & Publishing introduced the 2012-2013 Board of Directors at the 2012 Annual Meeting in Baltimore, MD on June 12th. The Board represents an array of associations and industry service providers committed to leadership and excellence in media and publishing.
"We've appointed a talented and capable group that represents a diverse cross-section of organizations," stated Executive Director Amy Lestition, CAE. "I look forward to working with the Board of Directors to enhance and grow Association Media & Publishing."
The 2012-2013 Board president is Gary Rubin, Senior Vice President; Publishing and E-Media Society for Human Resource Management. Rubin has a robust team of association professionals serving on the Board to provide additional support: vice president Kim Howard, editor in chief, ACC Docket, Association of Corporate Counsel serves; treasurer Erin Pressley, vice president, editorial services, NACS, NACS: The Association for Convenience &Fuel Retailing; assistant treasurer Angel Alvarez-Mapp, creative services manager, California Freemason, Masons of California; and immediate past president Gregory J. Fine, CAE, CEO of Turnaround Management Association.
Association Media & Publishing members have appointed the following to a two-year Board term, expiring in 2014: Marc Ingram, Director, Advertising & Exhibit Sales, Community Associations Institute; Kim Kett, vice president of sales, Godengo+Texterity; Wendy Mann, CAE, Director, Communications, National Telecommunications Cooperative Association; and Leslie McGee, managing editor, Oncology Nursing Forum and Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing, Oncology Nursing Society. Debra Bates-Schrott, president, Bates Creative Group, LLC has been appointed to serve another one-year term expiring in 2013.
Continuing their service on the Board of Directors are: John Falcioni, editor-in-chief and publisher, Mechanical Engineering, American Society of Mechanical Engineers; Donn Greenberg, publisher, PM Network, Project Management Institute; Heather Swink, CAE, executive editor, FORUM magazine, Association Forum of Chicagoland; and Diane Rusignola, managing editor, Independent Agent magazine, Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.
